A woman has been arrested after a car smashed into a Corio veranda on Friday morning.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers were told a red SUV was seen allegedly driving erratically before crashing into the veranda on Michigan Ave about 8am.

“A 37-year-old Norlane woman was taken into custody nearby,” She said.

No one was injured during the incident, but damage to a fence and letterbox was visible.
