An aggravated burglary in Charlemont during the early hours of Sunday morning has prompted police to call for help.

A police spokesperson said an investigation was underway into the circumstances surrounding the aggravated burglary which took place in Charlemont during the early hours of Sunday.

They said investigators were told unknown offenders had entered the Sparrovale Rd property at approximately 3am and had stolen a number of items including keys to two vehicles.

“The unknown persons have left the area in the victim’s 2023 Mitsubishi outlander (Blue) and a 2023 Audi Q2 Wagon (grey),” they said.

“Investigators have been told that the two stolen vehicles were seen in the area in convoy with a white Hyundai.”

It comes as police have also called for help locating a racing motorcycle that was stolen from a Norlane business on Sunday May 11, one week prior.
