A date has been set for the trial of accused waterfront killer Bailey Clifford.
The Supreme Court of Victoria heard a directions hearing on Thursday, with the alleged murderer’s trial to begin on March 31.
The proceedings have been adjourned until March 17.
Most of the details from pre-trial hearings cannot be reported for legal reasons.
Victoria’s Judicial Proceedings Reports Act prevents media reporting during this stage when a jury has not yet been empaneled.
Mr Clifford has been charged with the murder of Geelong father-of-three Paul Grapsas.
Clifford, 20, was arrested in Ocean Grove five days after the former TAC worker’s body was found near his Western Beach Rd home on September 15, 2023.
