A Leopold couple has revealed how they plan to spend their winnings after a significant Keno victory.

A Leopold couple has secured a jackpot while playing Keno.

They will take home $88,727 after purchasing an online ticket for the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot which was drawn on Monday.

The couple was over the moon with the winnings, with the husband describing the win as “unbelievable”.

“My wife decided to put on a Keno ticket last night, and then she won $60,” he said.

“We decided to put that prize towards another ticket and choose four numbers each.

“I went to the shed for a bit and then came out with a $88,000 win.

“It’s such great news.

“We play Keno every now and then, but never expect to win a major jackpot.”

When asked about their plans for the jackpot prize, the husband said he couldn’t wait to pay off the mortgage and lavishly support their beloved family members.

“We would love to pay down our mortgage and also shout our kids and grandkids,” he said.

“We will probably celebrate as a family once the prize is in the account.”

It comes after a Leopold couple won $2.5m in Tattslotto on Saturday.
