A Colac man will be extradited to New Zealand as a result of alleged historical rape offences.
Hori Kereama Te Nana, 65, appeared in the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on the charge of rape on Friday.
According to court documents, New Zealand police believe the alleged offences allegedly occurred between 1977 and 1981.
Mr Te Nana originally from Hamilton, New Zealand most recently worked at the Australian Lamb Group in Colac and was previously a team leader at the Hamilton City Council, New Zealand, according to his Facebook profile.
