A super-sized seal has slithered into a seaside servo in surprising scenes that stunned residents in Point Lonsdale.
Journalist and presenter Jacqui Felgate posted the amazing footage to her Instagram account of what is believed to be an elephant seal, named Henry, journeying from the water, up to a service station and back again.
The seal can be seen with a police escort for part of its Friday afternoon adventure.
Beachgoers of all ages, including a baby in a pram, can be seen gathering around Henry as he took in his surroundings.
At one point, the mammal was seen in a close up, resting in a carpark and peering at onlookers.
Henry can be seen taking a quick nap back on the sand as his moment in the limelight concluded.
In Ms Felgate’s video, he can be seen making it safely back to the sand soon after.
