Geelong detectives are appealing for assistance into a random Anzac Day assault that left a teenager in hospital.
Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak with as part of an investigation into the incident, which occurred on Easter Beach Road in Geelong on April 25.
It is alleged an 18-year-old man was assaulted just before 9.30pm.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Geelong hospital.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman told the Geelong Advertiser the two men are not known to each other.
“Police have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries,” he said.
