Geelong’s bright future was in the spotlight at a gathering of local leaders and key decision-makers.

Major employers, industry stalwarts and government bodies, longtime business owners gathered at a roundtable discussion at Avalon Airport on January 31 to discuss the thriving city’s future.

The forthcoming Future Geelong Campaign, spearheaded by the Addy team, is aimed at promoting the region’s untapped potential.

Major employers, industry stalwarts and government bodies, longtime business owners traded ideas, visions and potential solutions for ongoing challenges.

Geelong Advertiser editor Nadja Fleet thanked attendees for their contributions and support of the campaign.

“It’s rare to see such a calibre of leaders from a diverse range of businesses and organisations coming together and sharing their ideas and visions for this city,” she said.

Building on momentum from the roundtable discussion, the general public will have a chance to cast a spotlight on the region’s issues and opportunities at a three-hour public forum and luncheon on March 1 at GMHBA stadium.
