Bonza announces massive sale on Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast flights

Bonza will fly from Avalon Airport to the Gold Coast three days a week, the budget airline has revealed.

The airline has also added more services to the Sunshine Coast, with $79 one-way fares for both routes going on sale Friday.

The Gold Coast flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from early December and the Sunshine Coast service will fly Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with an extra service from September 8.

Bonza chief commercial officer Carly Povey said 1.25 million Australians had downloaded the airline’s app.

“We know travellers have been eagerly waiting for these flights to go on sale and I’m delighted to share that all 33 routes to 17 destinations are now on sale via the Fly Bonza app or your local travel agent,” she said.

“All the things we love about summer just got better with more Aussies now able to fly to more destinations than ever before. Whether it’s catching the Australian Open in Melbourne, devouring Mooloolaba prawns on the Sunshine Coast, sailing in the Whitsundays or getting out on the Murray River in Mildura and Albury, holidays that don’t cost a packet are now at our fingertips.”

The airline said the addition of a dedicated spare aircraft would increase reliability and customer satisfaction.
