The families of Israeli hostages being held by Hamas have appeared on stage with US President Donald Trump during his inauguration parade.

Mr Trump shook the hands of the family members of hostages in Gaza and told the crowd at Capitol One Arena “we have to get them out”.

“As soon as I leave, I’m going to the Oval Office and we’ll be signing pardons for a lot of people,” he said.
