A messy love triangle has been exposed involving former Western Bulldogs player Josh Hill and the mothers of both his daughters — making public the fact that he now has “two children, born in the same week to two different women”.

The retired AFL footballer was this week revealed to be central to the bizarre scandal when his Wikipedia page revealed he had become a father.

The page cited Facebook as the source when it claimed: “2020 has been a big year for Hill, becoming a father for the first time … two children born in the same week to two different women.”

The former forward, who also played for West Coast, welcomed his daughter Noa with fiance Jo Duffy in Melbourne on August 8.

The news, and a photograph of the proud new dad with his newborn, prompted an avalanche of congratulatory messages from friends and family.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the country in Perth, his ex-girlfriend Kara Wicks also announced the birth of Hill’s second child on August 16 — a girl named Mila Grace.

The baby is believed to have been born on August 13, just five days after Hill’s first child.

Wicks has showed off photographs of the newborn on her own public Instagram page but Hill is notably absent from the social media posts.

While the baby has been given Hill’s surname, the footballer hasn’t featured in any of his ex-girlfriend’s photographs since October last year.

The former couple started their relationship on July 8, 2018, with Hill later saying they were just “casual”.

He told the DailyMail he would “honour his responsibilities” for both children.

Hill, who played for the Western Bulldogs after he was drafted in 2006, joined the Eagles in 2015.

The 2008 rising star nominee is related to AFL stars Stephen, Bobby and Brad Hill.

Ms Duffy, Ms Wicks and Hill have been contacted for comment.
