A Melbourne DJ and OnlyFans star posted a bizarre video dancing in a bikini next to a balcony just five days before she was killed in a tragic balcony fall.
Courtney Mills, 37, plummeted to her death on January 10 during a Bali holiday, where she fell from an apartment building balcony while visiting her two dogs.
Her older sister Kiani and mother Diane flew out to be by her side in hospital.
On social media, Kiana said she was rushed to hospital with critical injuries after the fall with staff doing “everything they could”.
“After multiple surgeries and being on life support she lost the fight at 6:38am Bali time,” Kiana said in a Facebook post.
“We are so grateful to all of them and their unwavering care for Court while she was at the hospital.
In a final post to Instagram, Ms Mills posted a video dancing next to a balcony in her bikini.
Ms Mills can be seen in the video dancing to the 90s hit Barbie Girl and blowing a kiss to her fans.
The post has since been flooded with comments with fans paying their condolences.
“Can’t believe the news still. A talented DJ and individual gone way too soon. RIP Courtney,” one wrote.
“She seemed so happy. Sad news and at such a young age.”
A highly-regarded DJ, Ms Mills had worked at some of Melbourne’s biggest nightspots, including Metropol, Cushion, Secret Garden, Hotel Barkley and Motel Eve.
Ms Mills’ family said her remains will be cremated at her “second home” in Bali.
“We wish to honour her and leave a part of her here,” sister Kiana said.
“We will then return home with her ashes, to celebrate her life, Courtney style, in Melbourne.
“We can’t begin to imagine a world without your vibrance & spark! Rest in peace our sparkling shining star.”
Her death comes after a separate incident in April 2023, when Ms Mills fell down a flight of stairs, causing bleeding on the right side of her brain.
A GoFundMe page was set up to raise money for her hospital bills.
The model was also involved in a scooter crash which left her and her ex-boyfriend severely injured back in 2018 while she was in Bali for a wedding.
The musician was well known around the Melbourne DJ scene before launching an international career.
Fellow DJ Brandon Mangion shared the final text Ms Mills sent to him in an emotional post, describing her as a “ray of sunshine” who could “light up a room”.
“I’m here for you x,” the text read.
DFAT confirmed to news.com.au that they were providing assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Bali but were unable to provide further details due to privacy.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Bali,” they said in a statement.
“We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.”
