Dramatic CBD crash leads to police chase

A teen is being questioned over a dramatic crash in the centre of Melbourne that saw multiple cars damaged.

Police are on scene at a dramatic crash in the centre of Melbourne.

A Honda smashed into multiple parked cars on Lonsdale St outside the court precinct before 4.30pm today.

Police chased after three teenage boys and a female after they fled the crash scene.

The trio of boys were arrested a short distance away.

An 18-year-old Collingwood man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were released pending inquiries.

No one was injured in the crash and the investigation is ongoing.

Photos show skid marks across the busy street.

At least three cars appear to have been damaged.

Several police units including the Public Order Response Team responded to the crash.
