Large quantities of cash and stolen items were seized from a home in Melbourne’s west on Tuesday night in a police crackdown on highly organised theft.
Police arrested a three foreign citizens after a warrant was executed at a Albion property about 10pm.
A 38-year-old man and 32-year-old woman, both from Sri Lanka, and a 25-year-old man from India were all arrested and charged with theft offences and proceeds of crime.
Their arrests form part of Operation Galeforce which focuses on offences committed in the CBD and the public transport network.

The joint operation which commenced in December is between the Transit Divisional Response Unit and Melbourne Tasking Unit of Victoria Police.
The trio have been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on April 14.
