Spectators have been treated to a spectacular display of talent at the Cairns Poetry Slam Best of the Best night at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre.

A crowd of more than 200 people lined up to watch, cheer and jeer some of Cairns best poets, all battling it out for the coveted Cairns Poetry Slam trophy last Wednesday.

The poets managed to enthral the crowd, with some audience members joining in on the fun.
