Two people have been transported to hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash at a busy city intersection on Friday afternoon.

Two people have been transported to hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash at a busy Manoora intersection on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Pease Street and Moody Street around 1.50pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed two patients were transported in stable condition to Cairns hospital.
“One patient was transported with seatbelt related chest pain and one patient was transported with leg injuries and back pain,” the spokeswoman said.
“A third patient didn’t need any transport.”
The Department of Transport and Main Roads confirmed lanes were reduced in all directions, with delays expected.
A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman confirmed police were on scene to direct traffic.
It follows a separate incident on Friday morning where two people were transported to hospital in a stable condition following a two vehicle crash on a Kamerunga Road.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman has confirmed two people had been taken to hospital.
“Two patients were transported to Cairns hospital with neck pain,” the spokeswoman said.
It comes after emergency services responded to reports of a two vehicle crash on the Cairns Western Arterial Road and Illawarra Street intersection in Caravonica at 7.12am.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman confirmed one crew was on the scene assessing two patients.
“One vehicle reportedly rolled over, however all patients self-extricated. Crews are assessing two patients and taking final precautions,” the spokeswoman said.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads confirmed lanes were affected in both directions, with motorists urged to proceed with caution.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman confirmed police were on scene to direct traffic.
“Outbound traffic is being diverted via Yerongi Street, inbound is slow,” the spokeswoman said.
It is the second traffic incident on Kamerunga Road in as many days, where emergency services responded to reports of a truck and vehicle crash.
Motorists were also affected by long delays following a rubbish truck rollover on the Kennedy Highway, with the driver taken to Cairns hospital in a serious condition.
A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman confirmed the road had reopened as at 8.10am.
