Murphys rebrand top real estate business as they join Ray White

RE/MAX Cairns, one of the region’s most successful real estate agencies, has rebranded their business.

RE/MAX Cairns, one of the region’s most successful real estate agencies, has rebranded their business to become Ray White Cairns and Ray White Palm Cove.

RE/MAX agency was bought in 2019 by members of the Murphy family — David, Ray and Sharyon — who said the decision to join the Ray White family strengthened the commitment to serving their customers with “unwavering dedication”.

The decision to align with Ray White was based on the desire to improve their services by using the resources and expertise of the largest property group in Australia.

“Joining Ray White was a natural choice for us,” David Murphy said.

“This rebrand will benefit our clients as we can offer far bigger reach through Ray White’s cutting edge NurtureCloud technology and the group is a household name.

“Ray White is a family-owned business too, just like ours, and that was important to us.”

Mr Murphy said clients could rest assured they would continue to receive the same level of “exceptional service”, but with “the added support and capabilities of the largest property group in Australia”.

David’s brother Ray Murphy has a long history working in the Cairns property market spending 13 years with RE/MAX including four years as co-owner after buying the business with his mother and brother.

Ray said it was great to be able to begin another chapter with his family.

“We all have the same goals as a family and all do our part,” he said.

“Working in real estate is almost a 24/7 gig so to know there is someone there all the time to help share the load.

“Nothing is going to change within the team we have the same staff, we just have the chance to work within the bigger family of Ray White to bring the best for our agents and clients.

“Cairns has a strong market with lots of demand at the moment from people moving to the region so things will certainly not be slowing down over the Christmas period with Ray White.”
