Calling op-shopaholics: Vinnies half-off sale ends on Saturday

Second hand shoppers should get down to their local Vinnies store, with one more day of amazing offers to go. Here’s what you can get your hands on.

Op-shopaholics should get down to Vinnies and enjoy the last day of their 50 per cent off retail sale, which ends on Saturday, June 1.

Bargain hunters will be able to grab massive discounts on anything from high-end fashion to pots and pans.

Vinnies Showgrounds store manager Toni Robson said the sale was a chance to reward loyal customers for their support.

“We do it every year, we give something back to our customers who are so loyal to us throughout the year,” Ms Robson said.

“More people than ever are in need at the moment, so the call on Vinnies is so great.

“We’re hoping to raise some really terrific funds.”

The sale applies to everything except for furniture and new items.

Ms Robson said women’s designer fashion was in particularly high demand at this year’s sale.

“We’ve had some Gorman clothes in the shop, lots of designer things and the ladies have been hanging out for that,” she said.

All the money Vinnies shops raised through the sale would go towards the charity’s community projects, Ms Robson said.

The Vinnies 50 per cent sale is on at all stores across Queensland including in Cairns City, the Showgrounds and Manunda.
