Burst water main in Kew creates suburban waterfall

A burst water main in Melbourne caused chaos for commuters with as high as ten metres in the air.

A burst water main in Melbourne’s inner east has created a spectacular early morning sight.

According to reports, the water main erupted on Willsmere Rd, in between Princess and Earl Streets, was reported shortly after 5:30 on Tuesday morning.

It’s understood the water was sent as high as ten metres in the air.

Yarra Valley Water arrived at the scene shortly before eight.
