Woman flown to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ from stab wounds in Melbourne’s southeast

A woman has been found suffering stab wounds to her back at a home in Melbourne’s southeast, with police searching for her attacker.

A woman has been flown to hospital after she was found at a home in Melbourne’s southeast with stab wounds in her back.

Emergency services were called to the residence on Dartmoor Dr in Cranbourne East just after 8am where a woman aged in her 30s was found seriously injured.

Paramedics treated the woman for upper body injuries and she was flown to hospital in a stable condition.

While no arrests have been made, police have confirmed the parties involved in the incident were known to one another.

The woman is believed to have suffered multiple stab wounds in the back during an incident that unfolded while three children were at the property, according to 7 News.
