A woman has been killed and two other people seriously injured following a high-speed collision on a rural road.

A woman has been killed in a devastating head-on crash on a major road south of Gympie, that has left two other people seriously injured.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene on the Mary Valley Hwy at Gildora, near the intersection with Ashton Rd, just after 11.45am on Friday.
Police believe two vehicles – a blue Ford Falcon ute and a white Holden Colarad – collided head-on along the 100km/h stretch, leaving one person trapped in the wreckage.
Queensland Police said a passenger in the Ford, a 21-year-old Victory Heights woman, was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 17-year-old Gympie boy sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The driver of the Holden, a 67-year-old Redbank Plains man sustained serious injuries and was transported to Gympie Hospital.
The Mary Valley Road was closed at Lawson Rd, several kilometres from the crash site after the crash.
