Tourist dies after car loses control along popular beach
A tourist had been found dead at the scene of a car rollover along a popular beach in Australia’s northeast, with others rushed to hospital.

A man has died and four people were hospitalised following car rollover along a popular beach north of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Police have begun an investigation into how a Toyota Prado lost control and rolled multiple times along Teewah Beach.
A tourist driving the car, a man in his 20s, was found dead at the scene.
A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were reportedly flown from the scene, and two other passengers were rushed by ambulance to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
It’s understood three of the passengers are in a stable condition and another has been discharged from hospital.
Australian authorities are attempting to reach out to the family of the dead man overseas.
