Police officer allegedly bitten in wild assault outside shopping centre
Officers were called to a shopping centre following reports a man had been acting aggressively before the wild alleged assault.

A police officer has allegedly been bitten in a wild assault outside a Perth shopping centre.
It will be alleged officers were called to a Chisham Ave shopping centre in Kwinana on September 20 where a man was seen acting aggressively.
Officers approached the 28-year-old man, who then attempted to grab one of their guns.
The man tried to assault officers when they tried to arrest him and a taser was used.
The man then ran towards the police car and got in the driver's seat, prompting officers to again use a taser.
The 28-year-old was removed from the car.
An officer was allegedly assaulted during the ordeal, with another bitten on the finger.
“He’s bitten me,” the officer says while holding his hand, according to footage from 9News.
Both officers suffered minor injuries.
The man has since been hit with a string of charges including two counts of assault public officer, (Att) steal motor vehicle, obstructing police officers and common assault.
The man appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on September 27.
