Emergency services were called to the office of Victorian Premier Dan Andrews after a suspicious item was found.
It’s understood that part of the Princes Highway has been shut down as investigations continue.
“Police have been called to an address on Princes Highway following reports of a suspect item at an office about 10.20am,” a Victorian Police spokesperson said.
“The area has been cordoned off while police and emergency services assess the scene and conduct a safety check.
“The area has been deemed safe.”
Victoria Ambulance said paramedics were called to an incident in Noble Park at about 10.30am for “health monitoring” reasons.
“No emergency treatment or transport was required,” a spokesperson said.
