A man has died after being found with a stab wound to his chest in Sydney’s western suburbs.

A man has died after being stabbed in Sydney’s western suburbs.

The 58-year-old was found with a stab wound to his chest on the Great Western Highway at Kingswood - near the suburb’s train station - at about 10.20pm on Tuesday, according to NSW Police.

The man was stabbed at a pizza shop, 7News has reported.

He was treated by paramedics before being transported to Westmead Hospital, where he died.

A crime scene has been established, with detectives launching an investigation with the assistance of the State Crime Homicide Squad.
