Man, 40, charged with woman’s murder following grim discovery at home in Adelaide’s south

Police have made a grim discovery in a quiet suburban home, following reports someone was “unresponsive” inside.

A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a woman’s body at a home in Adelaide’s south.

At about 7pm on Sunday emergency services were called to a property on Wark Crt in Morphett Vale, having received reports that a person was “unresponsive” inside.

Upon arrival the body of a 39-year-old Encounter Bay woman was found at the scene.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Morphett Vale man at the home.

He has been charged with murder and was refused bail to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police allege he was known to the deceased woman.
