The king of the Aussie franchise is lending his hand to the beauty industry offering a wide range of treatments to customers.

The king of the Aussie franchise is lending his hand to a surprising industry by opening Jim’s Beauty offering a wide range of at home treatments.

Jim’s Group is renowned for having a long list of franchises, including Jim’s Mowing, Jim’s Cleaning and Jim’s Painting.

Now, Aussies in the beauty industry are being offered the chance to start their own business and join the Jim’s Beauty franchise.

The new business venture allows customers to book a wide range of services, including facials, nails, spray tan, teeth whitening and even bridal packages.

The mobile services can be done in the customer’s home or even the franchisee’s house and salon if the customer prefers.

Despite the franchise officially launching on November 1, some Aussies are sceptical about its legitimacy given the legend surrounding Jim’s Mowing.

Jim Penman founded Jim’s Mowing in 1982 with a $24 investment before expanding his empire across the globe.

There are now more than 5000 franchisees across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The business also now produces Jim’s Podcast, which gives insight into each of the franchise models.

The latest franchise has sparked several people TikTok to question whether Jim is being serious about entering the beauty industry of if the entire thing is one big joke.

Australian comedian Josh Hawkins, who is more commonly known as HiJosh online, also posted about the surprising business venture.

“Okay, I need to know if this is real,” he said in a TikTok video which as been viewed more than 16,000 times.

“Imagine getting the bridal package from Jim, it’s the Australian dream.”

While Mr Hawkins was cautious about believing the franchise was real, he did reveal in his research for the video that the business now has “an official car” with detailing.

Perth mum Sally Felix was also shocked to learn about Jim’s Beauty and posted about the funny business model in TikTok video, which has since had 1.4 million views.

“Look at this s– t. This is f– king hilarious to me that this is real and I’m so tempted to book in something,” she said.

“Should I do it? I’m pretty sure they come to you.”

One follower replied to the video that “Jim is the entrepreneur of our time” while another said “it’s Jim’s world and we are just living in it”.

However, for those wanting to use the service, it’s only offered in limited locations.

Jim’s Group posted on social media about the new business venture.

“Experience luxury beauty treatments at your convenience,” the post stated.

“Our professionals are ready to pamper you, anytime, anywhere.”

The business will have three different model options, the first is the franchisee can go to the customer’s house, or they can operate from their own home, or open in a shop or traditional beauty salon.
