Investigation after man’s body found on side of road in Griffith, NSW

A man has died after being found with critical injuries on the side of a residential road.

A man has died after being found on the side of the road in the Riverina region of NSW.

The grim discovery was made on Watkins Ave in Griffith shortly after 4.20am on Monday.

NSW Police say the man had suffered numerous injuries and died at the scene.

“Police are investigating the possibility the man may have been struck by a vehicle,” a statement from NSW Police said.

“A canvass of the area is now underway to confirm identity.”
