Former radio giant Alan Jones will return to court for the first time after he was slapped with an additional assault charge, bringing the total number of his alleged victims to 11.

The 83-year-old former 2GB host is expected to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday after pleading not guilty late last year to 34 separate charges.

Police revealed on Friday that they had since charged Mr Jones with an additional count of assault with act of indecency, bringing the number of alleged victims to 11.

The political insider is separately facing 34 charges relating to a further 10 alleged victims, eight of which were laid by police on the day of his first court appearance.

The initial charges include an aggravated indecent act and sexually touching a person without consent, and are alleged to have occurred between 2001 and 2019.

Police alleged the acts occurred at a range of locations, including Mr Jones’s former home in Newtown, his luxury Circular Quay apartment, and a property at Fitzroy Falls.

Among the complaints are allegations Mr Jones kissed a man on the mouth and squeezed and rubbed his penis, and touched his penis to the penis of another complainant.

Several allegations relate to a person known as Complainant C, who police allege “was under the authority of the accused by reason of being directly employed” by Jones.

The allegations brought on behalf of Complainant C include that Mr Jones touched his knee, leg, and inner thigh, touched and rubbed his penis, and repeatedly kissed him.

Mr Jones has vowed to fight the charges, telling the media after his first appearance in court that “I am certainly not guilty and I will be presenting my account to a jury”.

“I will not be engaging in a running commentary in the media, but I want you to understand this: These allegations are either baseless or distort the truth.”

He claimed prior to his arrest that he was given “no opportunity by police” to answer the allegations.

“I have never indecently assaulted these people,” he said.

“The law assumes I am not guilty, and I am not guilty.

“I am emphatic that I’ll be defending every charge before a jury in due course.”

Mr Jones was arrested at his harbourside apartment on November 18 following a police investigation.
