An Australian man killed in a horrific high-speed motorbike crash in Bali after rounding a curve in one of the island’s northern provinces has been identified.

The man, in his 30s, was riding in the Buleleng regency on Friday when he lost control on a curve in the road, according to local media reports.

He has since been identified as Thomas Cossins, 9 News reports.

Buleleng Police Traffic Unit Chief, AKP Bachtiar Arifin, said the man was dragged along with his vehicle before hitting a roadblock.

He suffered severe head injuries.

Bueleleng Police said the man died in Parama Sidhi Singaraja Hospital despite attempts to revive him.

The crash occurred along the track in Wirabuana Hamlet, in Gitgit Village of the Buleleng regency.

In an emotional post on Facebook, Mr Cossins’s fiancee Jasmine paid tribute to her “soul mate” and “best friend”.

“Thomas, you have shown me real love, real compassion, strength and loyalty,” she wrote, as reported by Sky News Australia.

“You shine brighter than anyone I have ever met and I will forever be in your debt.

“You’ve shown me love I never knew existed and I will truly love you for the rest of my life.

The incident follows another Aussie, Shane Ramsey, suffering severe injuries in a scooter crash just a week ago.

Mr Ramsey, from Perth, and his friends were in Bali for a wedding when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a pole in Seminyak.

The tradie underwent surgery for his injuries - including a fractured skull, bleeding on the brain, blood in his lungs and severe brain damage - and was brought back home to Royal Perth Hospital.

But family members of Mr Ramsey turned off his life support earlier this week after being told by doctors he would not regain brain function.

The Buleleng crash comes just a week after Perth man Shane Ramsey was critically injured in a scooter crash in Seminyak. His family switched off his life support earlier this week. Picture: Supplied
