A crime scene has been declared at Miami on the Gold Coast where two people have been found dead in an apartment with a murder-suicide investigation underway.

A crime scene has been declared on the Gold Coast after two people were found dead in an apartment.
Emergency services were called to the property on Great Hall Dve at Miami where they found the pair deceased about 4.10pm.
The property neighbours Miami State High School.
A police spokeswoman said there was no ongoing threat to the public and investigations were continuing.
The victims are believed to be an elderly couple and detectives are investigating whether the tragedy is a possible murder-suicide.
The dead couple were found at the Magic Mountain Apartments, which were built on the site of popular 1980s tourist attraction Magic Mountain.
