Tammy Hembrow doesn’t mind being underestimated.

Arguably Australia’s most famous influencer, the Queensland bikini babe and business owner has lived with just that since launching on social media.

“I feel like people have always my entire life underestimated me, especially when I first started out being a young girl ... this little blonde girl and people don’t really expect much of me or take advantage in certain ways,” Hembrow told Confidential.

Tammy Hembrow is launching her own swimwear titled Swim Collection on the back of a popular luxury athleisure label Saski Collection – a set of raunchy swimwear that comes in a selection of bright neon colours. It’s not just for the super small either, sizes go up to an XL, size 16 and are purchased exclusively from saskicollection.com. PICS SUPPLIED

“I have always loved proving everyone wrong.”

Hembrow, who helms her Saski athleisure brand and the TammyFit fitness app, has made it on Forbes Australia’s inaugural 30 Under 30 list.

There, she sits alongside Olympic champions like Jessica Fox and Ariarne Titmus, global music superstars Troye Sivan and The Kid Laroi, Hollywood actor Jacob Elordi and tech leaders Sam Crowther, Abhishek Maran, Shoaib Iqbal and Przemyslaw Lorenczak.

The 30-year-old mother of three narrowly made it onto the list as her birthday fell within the cut-off dates.

“I don’t qualify after this year so I am so excited to be on it,” Hembrow, with more than 17 million Instagram followers alone, said.

“30 Under 30 has been on my bucket list the past 10 years, I honestly it has alwawys been the top of the vision board so to get it just in the knick of time ... I almost missed out.”

On making the list, she said: “I feel like part of my motivation and drive is what people love to see, I hope it inspires other people. I am a bit of a go-getter and I think that is being recognised.”

Hembrow, who is soon to wed reality star partner Matt Zukowski, will launch a new business venture around April next year with sisters Amy and Emilee.
