A PASSENGER has been rushed to hospital in Western Australia after becoming unresponsive on a Bali-bound flight.

A JETSTAR flight to Bali has had to make an emergency landing in Western Australia to give urgent medical attention to a passenger who became unresponsive.
Flight number JQ127 departed Adelaide for Indonesia just after 8am (ACST) this morning but was forced to land in Port Hedland at 10:50am (AWST) when a passenger fell ill.

In a statement provided to news.com.au, Jetstar said the passenger was removed from the plane and rushed to hospital.
“A flight from Adelaide to Bali was diverted today after a passenger had a medical emergency on-board,” a Jetstar spokesman said.
“We diverted the flight to Port Hedland and paramedics met the aircraft on arrival to transport the passenger to hospital.”
The low-cost airline could not provide any further details on who the passenger was or what the medical emergency was. However, the flight has since departed Port Hedland and is schedule to arrive in Denpasar at 1:30pm local time.
