Police chase ends in allegedly stolen Porsche crashing in Mosman, four girls and boy charged

Four girls, one only 12 years old, and a teenage boy have been charged after a police chase that ended with an allegedly stolen Porsche hitting a concrete barrier.

A group of four girls, aged 12 to 14, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged after crashing an allegedly stolen Porsche in one of Sydney’s wealthiest suburbs.

Police were called to a home on Lalchere Street in Curl Curl after reports of a break in, where officers were told a Porsche SUV had been taken from the premises.

The vehicle was seen a short time later in Manly Vale, where police attempted to stop the car, sparking a chase before the vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier.

No one was injured. The driver, a 16-year-old boy, and six female passengers aged 12 to 16, were arrested.

Photos from the scene show the Porsche’s airbags were triggered, and the front right wheel arch and bumper were damaged.

The car was towed away shortly after.

The occupants of the car were taken to Manly and Chatswood police stations.

Four girls, aged 12, 16 and two aged 14, were charged with being carried in conveyance without consent of owner.

They were all granted conditional bail to appear at children’s court on Wednesday 5 June 2024.

The teenage boy was charged with police pursuit, drive conveyance without consent of owner, drive never licensed, not stop at red light/stop sign, larceny, and breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear at a children’s court on Saturday.

Two other girls in the car, aged 14 and 13, were released and will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
