A lost load of frozen chickens has caused traffic chaos on a busy roundabout in southwest Sydney.
Motorists approaching Jedda Rd at the Bernera Rd roundabout in Prestons came to a standstill at about 8.30am, Wednesday, with dozens of raw chickens seen on the intersection.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman said they received a call at about 8.50am, with the rescue team leaving the scene at about 9.20am.
He confirmed a forklift was bought in to help clear the carcasses from the road, with the area washed of the debris. The spokesman added there were no reports of a truck turnover.
