Two children have been injured following a crash involving a bus and a car.

Children have been injured in a crash involving a bus and a car south of Brisbane.

Police and paramedics were called to the crash at the corner of Caswell Rd and Mount Lindesay Hwy at Veresdale about 3.30pm on Monday.

No one was seriously injured in the crash, but a pre-teen and teenager with a suspected knee and shoulder injury were taken to Logan Hospital by paramedics.

A Logan Hospital spokesperson said the two patients were in the Emergency Department and were both in a stable condition.

The bus was believed to have had more than 20 people inside.

There were also two people inside the car.

Drivers experienced delays around the crash site for several hours while emergency services cleared debris from the roads.
