“It will be further alleged the woman drove on the wrong side of the road and directly at police, before colliding with traffic lights on Ray Jones Drive near Rigg Street. She was arrested and both children and a dog were removed from the vehicle unharmed. After a short confrontation at the collision scene the woman was arrested by officers.”

Dashcam and mobile phone footage from onlookers taken on the day show a grey SUV driving erratically, dangerously overtaking a line of cars and speeding through the intersection before crashing.
