Burger meal deals
Sure, if you make a hamburger at home with a lean beef patty, higher protein or wholegrain bread roll and loads of salad you can create a relatively healthy meal.
On the other hand, when you order a burger with 2-3 serves of meat and cheese, along with creamy sauces and a side of fries, the average upsized fast-food meal contains more than 1000 calories and upwards of 60-80g of fat, or almost an entire days’ worth of fat and calories, minus any decent vegetable or salad bulk, lean protein or wholegrains.
You may have also noticed that you can demolish a fast-food meal within minutes, which is why it is one of the least satisfying types of foods you can have, and is so easy to overeat.
