Which Aussie store can dress you from head to toe for less than $100 this spring?

Cheap is suddenly chic with Big W creating an online buzz thanks to their new spring collection, with nothing priced over $39.

Belinda Grice, head of Big W’s women’s apparel says it is important that retailers offer busy, budget conscious mums on-trend looks for less.

“We believe that everybody deserves the opportunity to look and feel great when they walk out the door,” she says.

“We’ve listened to our customers and our latest & me spring collection gives our customers access to easy-care, mix and match pieces to help ease some of that pressure.”

“We know it’s not easy to update your wardrobe on a budget, so making fashion that is affordable is really important to us.”

Ms Grice says the affordability of the range is a result of new research commissioned by the retailer.

The research revealed chaotic mornings are leaving Aussie mums with just 20 minutes to get ready for the day ahead, with six of those crucial minutes spent deciding what to wear. The survey also found that mums plan to spend an average of $171 updating their wardrobe for the new season.

To help busy mums maximise their precious me-time, celebrity stylist Donny Galella says mum’s should tackle their wardrobe dilemmas with forward planning.

“Your outfit can really set the tone for the day, so you don’t want to feel rushed each and every morning,” he said.

“Just like meal prepping on a Sunday, organising outfits for the week will save time, and reduce stress. If you can’t commit to the entire week, at least plan tomorrow’s outfit the night prior.”

Ms Grice says key pieces of the new collection include crisp linen blends, earthy and neutral tones pared back with palm prints and statement accessories such as scarfs and hats while jumpsuits are a season must-have.

Galella says the collection allows women to get the catwalk trends at a fraction of the cost.

“The entire collection works together to make dressing for any occasion this spring easier for busy mums so you can go from school drop-off to the office feeling fantastic,” he says.

Mums Jo Star and Rebecca Little swapped their daily routines to showcase the new range this week, with the total of both outfits still less than the $171 allocated to update a spring wardrobe.
