Virgin launches mega birthday sale with domestic fares from $45

Over 900,000 heavily discounted fares are up for grabs.

If you fancy a Byron Bay getaway with air fares from as low as $45 from Sydney to Ballina, Virgin is your go to this week. Its latest sale features over 900,000 discounted fares for travel between July 23, 2025 and March 26, 2026. Which is prime travel time right through summer and beyond.

Savings of up to 30 per cent are being offered on the following routes with one-way Economy Lite fares in both directions:

Brisbane - Cairns from $89*
