Kmart shoppers are coming out in droves for this new kitchen gadget to ensure your Bolognese is more unified. No lumps, no complaints, hopefully.

One Kmart fan, sharing on a popular Facebook group, revealed how impressed she was with the store's new Mince Masher. Who would have thought a $5 kitchen gadget would bring this much joy?

The new gadget is ideal for minced meat while cooking or crushing up biscuits, fruit, or vegetables. Kmart said the handheld utensil works by breaking down and blending ground meat "to get uniform consistency for evenly cooked meals."

But wait, there's more: Kmart assures us that it's heat resistant, safe to use in non-stick pans, and dishwasher safe.

Ideal for stressed-out mums

In her post, the shopper urged others to get their hands on a Mince Masher — and shared an added benefit for stressed-out mums.

"Do yourself a favour and get yourself one of these gadgets," she wrote on the Kmart Hacks & Decor page.

"I've always found breaking up mince such a chore, but this is effective. And also quite therapeutic when your children are on your last nerve during school holidays," she concludes.

Other Kmart fans agreed that it was a "game changer" buy.

"I love mine, it's the best," said one.

Another added: "They’re so, so good!"

"I have 6 of these, I do a lot of cooking my for my cooking approx 5kg mince meat per day this gadget is my life saver," one super-fan writes.

At my house, the veggies need to be disguised more than the meat chunks. But I think it will work perfectly for those who have toddlers. BLW foods are easily broken up and hopefully more palatable.
