A Sunday country breakfast was awaiting Stellar magazine’s VIP guests after an early morning chopper ride.

Celebrities and winners of the new publication’s Stellar Sunday competition were flown to Bowral’s Milton Park boutique hotel at sunrise to begin a day of pampering, indulgence and adventure and celebrate the launch of The Sunday Telegraph’s new glossy.

Guests including Hayden Quinn, Terry Biviano and Anthony Minichiello were offered pampering sessions and the chance to try their skills at clay pigeon shooting and croquet on the hotel’s manicured grounds.

Stellar magazine editor-in-chief Sarrah Le Marquand, who hosted the event, said the day’s delights perfectly reflected what readers could expect from the new magazine.

“It’s filled with entertainment, news stories, lots of lifestyle content covering fashion, beauty, travel and then of course, it’s all about food... It’s a core component of the magazine,” she told guests.

Minichiello proved his talents on the gun range, clocking up an impressive score at the laser pigeon shooting session.

“That was good fun,” he said. “Better than thought I’d be. I did it in New Zealand with real guns and I did all right, but I was better this time around. I grew up on acreage - dad had licensed firearms so I grew up with it.”
