UFO denials just what authorities would say if aliens invaded

The US denying shot-down UFOs were alien simply means they were alien and the media should have taken more notice, writes Joe Hildebrand. Have your say.

So, long story short, we’re being invaded by aliens.

Or at least the authorities can’t rule it out, and I feel like if we weren’t being invaded by aliens that’s something they would definitely rule out.

And, of course, by “we” I mean “America”. It’s always America.

In case anyone thinks I exaggerate, I refer to an article on news.com.au headlined: “We don’t rule out aliens and we don’t know what the octagonal UFO we shot down is, Pentagon chief says”.

And, frankly, I feel they should have run it a little higher.

I mean, if it turns out it really is an alien invasion, it’s going to be pretty embarrassing when all the editors of the world end up saying: “Look, at the time we didn’t think it was worth much more than a strong downpager.”

But this is actually happening. The US military has actually shot down three UFOs over North America and it has no idea what they are.

Moreover, they are described as “octagonal orbs”, which sounds to me very much like the sort of thing aliens would get around in.

And it comes a week after they shot down a Chinese spy balloon, and we all know what that means: Clearly the Chinese are spying on the aliens.

Asked where the UFOs came from, the head of the US North American Aerospace Defense Command said: “I haven’t ruled out anything.”

Definitely aliens.

And, later, the White House said “there is no indication of aliens or extraterrestrial activity with these recent take-downs”, which is exactly what they would say if there was an
indication of aliens or extraterrestrial activity with these recent take-downs.

Not since a global shortage of bacon was reported as a brief on page 17 has the mainstream media buried a story of such planetary significance.

We can only pray the Chinese find them in time.
