Rich Kids of Instagram’s insanely lavish Valentine’s Day celebrations

They’re the generation that love flaunting their wealth on social media — and their lavish Valentine’s Day celebrations are no exception.

As much as we all love a bunch of supermarket flowers and a box of Maltesers on Valentine’s Day, you have to admit, sometimes it would be nice to have more exciting plans than falling asleep on the sofa.

But while we’re busy dreaming of an expensive piece of jewellery or some lavish lingerie, the Rich Kids of Instagram have taken the romantic holiday to new extremes with their extravagant displays of affection.

From Hawaii to Finland, some very lucky ladies have been whisked away ahead of the romantic holiday to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style, The Sun reports.

Putting our supermarket flowers to shame, some rather generous boyfriends have been digging deep into their pockets to treat their partner’s to more red roses than we can physically count.

And thought breakfast in bed was the ultimate Valentine’s treat?

New-Yorked based Tara Whiteman spent her Valentine’s Day last year enjoying an envy-inducing brunch of pancakes and fresh fruit as she took in the private view of Sydney Harbour.

And just when you thought her boyfriend’s sweet gesture couldn’t be topped, he also drew her a soothing bubble bath overflowing with rose petals and lined with rose gold fairy lights.

While she sipped a glass of champagne and posed for the perfect Instagram post, of course.

Meanwhile, Instagram power couple Jack Morris and Lauren Baulen snuggled up in Finland as they enjoyed a luxury igloo holiday.

The loved up pair — who boast millions of Instagram followers — took an adorable snap as they posed in the snow along as Laura joked how he is “always sweeping me off my feet.”

But Valentine’s Day isn’t Valentine’s Day for these lovebirds without some lavish gifts to mark the occasion too.

From filling a sports car full of flowers to actually being gifted said vehicle, some incredibly generous Instagram husbands have dug deep into their pockets to pull out all the stops for their loved one this Valentine’s.

Not to mention how some incredibly lucky women also received a new Chanel bag to mark the romantic occasion.

In red leather, of course.

Meanwhile, other Rich Kids of Instagram have been treated to a Cartier present (or two) to ring in the annual day of romance.
