Raw Hot Cross Bun Balls
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup(s) rolled oats (or quinoa flakes) 1 cup(s) medjool date(s) pitted
- 1 cup(s) sunflower seeds (kernels)
- 1 cup(s) coconut (desiccated)
- 1/2 cup(s) linseed / flaxseed
- 1 orange(s) zest and juice
- 2 tablespoon(s) coconut oil (extra virgin) melted
- 2 tablespoon(s) coconut milk (from carton) more if needed 2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon (ground)
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon(s) all spice
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg (ground)
- Ingredients for Chocolate Cross
- 50 g 85% dark chocolate
Method
- Blitz all ingredients in a food processor.
- Grabbing a heaped tablespoon of the mix at a time, roll into balls.
- Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle a cross over each ball.
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set the chocolate cross.
- Enjoy!
