We’ve sniffed out the best dog parks in Ringwood
Ringwood in Melbourne’s outer east has plenty of parks to walk your pooch — and we’ve dug up some of the best off-leash and social options for your dog.

Sylvia Grove, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
Proclamation Park has a large grassy oval which allows dogs off leash. Dogs are prohibited to the athletics track.
Gracedale Ave, Ringwood East, 24-hour dog park
This reserve has an oval, playground and toilets. There’s plenty of trees and larger grassy areas. Tarralla Creek Trail connects to the reserve, but is not a dog off-leash area.
Greenwood Ave, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
Jubilee Park is part of a large sport precinct home to football, cricket, tennis, croquet, soccer and boxing clubs. Locals say it’s a great place to walk your dog off-leash.
There’s two big sporting ovals, a playground, onsite parking accessed via Greenwood Ave, Gardini Ave and Reilly St, water fountains and a toilet block.

Your dogs will make the most of green space here off-leash, while a playground nearby will keep the kids busy.
Laurance Grove, Ringwood East, 24-hour dog park
You’ll find this dogs off-leash park behind the Ringwood East shops. It has a playground, picnic table and drinking fountain.
Mount Dandenong Rd and Dublin Rd, Ringwood East, 24-hour dog park
Locals say it’s a great place to socialise your pooch with other dogs.
Mullum Mullum Rd, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
Notlen St, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
This neighbourhood park is off-leash.
Evelyn Rd, Ringwood North, 24-hour dog park
This 7.2ha patch is surrounded by natural bushland and has plenty of walking trails.
Be prepared to find a carpark on surrounding streets, as the small car park may be full when you visit.
Oban Rd, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
Locals say this reserve is quite small and average compared to other parks in the area.
There’s also limited parking and a small playground, accessed via the laneway on Carol Ct, off Jull Parade.
Towerhill Dve, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
Towerhill Reserve is an open grassland reserve with a small playground and cricket pitch.
Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
This fairly-large park area allows dogs off-leash and joins the Mullum Mullum creek and neighbouring Mullum Mullum Creek Trail. However, dogs must be on leads along the trail.
Locals say there’s no sport played in the park area so it’s free for locals to use.
There’s also water taps with bowls for the dogs and toilet block.
Kalinda Rd, Ringwood, 24-hour dog park
The gumtree-lined park has paths perfect for dog-walking and an expansive grass area to lets the dogs off-leash.
Wonga Rd, Ringwood North, 24-hour dog park
This patch is a hidden gem, found off Wonga Rd in Ringwood North. It makes a great space for picnics, bike riding, BBQs or taking the dog for a walk. The reserve connects to Monterey Bush Park.
Wonga Rd, Ringwood North, 24-hour dog park
This area is a large sporting precinct in Ringwood North and home to three ovals, a tennis club, walking trail and pony club. Dogs must be on-leash in the pony club area when horses are present. The entire reserve is a dog off leash area, excluding the main oval.
