"I’ll tell you how I became a mum of 12 beautiful children."
“I told my kids I was making a music video about us and that they needed to say ‘do do do do do do do do,’” she wrote on the clip.
If you're familiar with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, you’ll recognise the beat.
To the tune of the iconic theme song, she sings:
“Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there. I’ll tell you how I became a mum of 12 beautiful children,” she sings.
The children, obediently chanting their “do do dos,” don’t immediately realise what’s just been revealed.
Karissa makes a second attempt.
“Uh, children didn’t hear me. I said 12 children,” she repeats.
Then comes the delayed wave of realisation and a mixed bag of reactions.
While a few of the younger kids cheer, yelling “Yes! Mummy’s pregnant,” the expressions of the two eldest daughters in the top left corner tell a very different story.
The mum includes a caption on the video as a disclaimer for their reactions.
"I promise my too cool teenagers are excited. This is how they show emotion," she revealed.

"Oldest daughter's face says it all"
Commenters were quick to pick up on it.
“Oldest daughter’s face says it all. Poor girl,” one commenter wrote.
“The oldest won’t have children,” another predicted.
A third added: “You are so cringe. Shame on you for exploiting your kids. They need to cancel family influencers!! Look at your eldest, her reaction says it all.”
Others shared their own experiences growing up in large families:
“As the oldest of 12 kids, every time I found out my mum was pregnant it devastated me. I love my family, but the burden of being oldest and having so much responsibility hurt beyond words could ever say,” one person shared.
“As an oldest daughter, stop. Just. Stop. The older ones are not excited. They are exhausted. They are over your selfishness. Can you provide each child one hour of uninterrupted one-on-one time a day? No, no you can’t. So, stop,” a second chimed in.
With more than five million views, the clip has struck a nerve, especially among those who’ve lived through what’s known as “parentification”.
Parentified children often take on adult roles within the home, helping raise their siblings and shoulder responsibilities far beyond their age.
And for many watching Karissa's clip, this wasn’t just a pregnancy reveal; it was a familiar story of childhood cut short.
