Mum ‘slut-shamed’ for breastfeeding in public
A mum has hit back after being criticised for breastfeeding her toddler son in a supermarket aisle.

A mum from the US has been slammed after breastfeeding her toddler in public.
The mother, known on TikTok as @MsCalciumCannons98, shared footage of herself going topless to feed her son in a supermarket aisle.
“#NormalizeBreastfeeding,” wrote the unabashed mum, from Houston, Texas, in the closed captions of her viral clip, which drummed up more than 14.3 million views, the New York Post reports.
In the video, the brunette, who works as an OnlyFans model, is seen holding her bare breast to the child’s mouth and stroking his head while he nurses.

And stunned social media users weren’t at all shy about bashing the mum for her risqué display.
“You have no class,” spat a commenter, slut-shaming her for partially disrobing.
“Arrest her for indecent exposure,” jeered another.
“Only dogs would do this kind of sh*t,” another detractor barked.
In response to the burst of cruel remarks, the targeted mother retaliated with humour.
“The fact that people think feeding my child makes me a [slut] is outrageous,” she penned in the body of a subsequent post, punctuating her indifference to the backlash with a laughing emoji.
And a number of breastfeeding advocates came to the chuckling mum’s defence, arguing that her breastfeeding is “totally natural”.
“That’s right, mama. Feed your baby. If you had smaller breast, these comments would be different,” cheered a supporter.
“WTF else is the kid supposed to do? Starve?” questioned an activist.
“It’s natural. Well done for feeding your child mama,” another praised.
“Do what’s best! People just need to normalise it,” said an equally approving backer.
But when a critic challenged the mum’s motives for unreservedly sharing her breastfeeding rituals, saying, “You’re not trying to normalise it, you’re sexualising it,” the mum stood up for herself against the condemnation.
“No Darlene,” the mother asserted, “that’s your mind sexualising it”.
“There’s nothing sexual about this video whatsoever.”
