Mum posts her standard bedroom habit, but everyone has questions

"As a SAHM, how do you cope with this?"

Mum's treat yourself moment—and it was glorious!

We all know why the little one said “roll over”—because in a bed, space is in demand - and a luxury.

But for this family, the motto seems to be: the more, the merrier!

The 29-year-old stay-at-home mum of three has shocked the internet - not with a wild parenting hack, but simply by making the bed.

"The family bed"

Cassey Bly recently shared a video of her daily routine, refreshing the linen on two queen beds pushed together to create one giant sleeping space.

It’s their “family bed."

She explains that they are in the midst of renovating, and captions the clip “the only room I can clean right now so here we go.”

In the video, she strips back the sheets, the doona, and pillowcases before replacing them with fresh linen. As the bed is a bed for giants, it's quite a physical process.

Cassey gives the space a quick vacuum and dust—nothing out of the ordinary for the busy mum.

Or so she thought.

"As in like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?"

What she didn’t realise was that hitting ‘post’ would invite internet chaos.

The comment section exploded with baffled reactions, as people struggled to wrap their heads around the idea of a shared family bed.

“…the family WHAT?” one top-voted comment reads.

“Couldn’t tell whether this was polyamory or loads of kids,” another brutally wrote.

“Family bed as in like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?” a third quipped.

Other made that point that as a SAHM, doesn't Cassey want some space after a day with the kids? Obviously not.

But not everyone was horrified.

Many praised the mother, sharing their own experiences and thoughts on co-sleeping.

“Sleeping next to my whole world??? Omg, I bet you are the absolute comfiest at night,” one commenter gushed.

“I just know those kids’ nervous systems are regulated and they feel so secure to go to sleep,” another agreed.

Instead of getting defensive, Cassey happily answered people’s questions—explaining that the setup was never forced on her kids and that their sleeping arrangements had evolved over time.

And as for the elephant in the room—how do the parents find time for, well… you know...

Cassey had a simple answer.

“We go somewhere else in the house. Anywhere else,” she explained.
