Mum accidentally puts Smirnoff frozen drink in her child’s lunch box

SCHOOLS are getting very strict when it comes to what kids are allowed to have in their lunch boxes. This probably crossed the line.

THERE’S a lot of lunch box shaming going around these days — everyone has an opinion on what your child should or shouldn’t pack to munch on at school.

First, we had the outrageous “chocolate slice gate” and then all the fuss over a piece of homemade cake.

But home baked goods ain’t got nothing on the latest outing of controversial lunch box treats, Kidspot reports.

One mum has taken shame to a whole new hilarious level — so much so that she decided to shame herself on Facebook after the discovery of highly inappropriate drink that ended up in her five-year-old’s lunch box.

When this mum sent her child off to school, she never expected to get a concerned phone call from her teacher about the contents of her daughter’s lunch box.

She wrote, in a Facebook post that has now gone viral:

“EPIC lunch box fail when you tell your five year old Preppie to put a frozen juice pouch in her lunch box and you forget the other pouches in your freezer!”

The little girl did just as her mum said and grabbed a “frozen juice pouch from freezer.” It sure had juice — there were plenty of raspberries and just a dash of Smirnoff vodka for good measure.

“Made for a veeeery interesting phone call from the teacher!” the mum said.

Fortunately — the Queensland school was very good-natured about it, as the mum very wisely turned the situation into a bit of joke.

“They were very good about it lol. I made light of it (it was obviously innocent on my daughter’s behalf). I apologised for not sending enough for the teachers and they just laughed thankfully.”

When the mum shared it on Facebook, most of the 2,000-plus people who reacted found it equally as hilarious:

“I just spat my wine out picturing the teacher’s face!” one person wrote. “My daughter’s teacher prob would’ve drunk it!” another said. “She can pack my lunch!” a commenter joked.

One mum said she’ll be hiding her raspberry vodka sorbet to ensure she doesn’t get a call from her kid’s school: “I have some in my freezer better stash them so it doesn’t happen to me!”

While another was more concerned with where she could purchase the special mummy’s “frozen juice pouch”. “Yumm where did you buy that from?” she wrote.
